It had been a short process – first flattening a piece of clay with a roller into a flat, flexible and thin slate.
Then, the artist had formed this sheet into hills and valleys, using a knife to cut the shape and an ordinary pencil to mark some contours.
It had been work with no haste, movements with grace and presence and cutting using no force. It could have been someone doing calligraphy.
She put her work, still wet and fresh, on a small wooden tray.
My first first try in the course ”going public”, to present art as if doing an exhibition./UB
